
The Challenge
TikTok approached Natalie to design and deliver a transformational sales leadership programme with the objective of building a strong performance culture while addressing current organisational challenges from a competitive and rapidly changing advertising landscape.
This included a dip in motivation due to the ongoing relentlessness of sales, attrition with employees lured to competitors and challenges engaging with C-Level clients.
The Solution
Natalie designed a series of group coaching workshops to address each challenge in small interactive groups of sales managers, using coaching principles to build awareness among participants of their ingrained patterns of behaviour that might be contributing to the issues. The workshops ran concurrently, allowing participants to deepen their self-awareness gradually, put new learnings into practice between sessions, and bring insights and learnings to the next workshop.
The Method
The workshops focused on:
- 1Building a high-functioning sales team by motivating the existing team and attracting new talent.
- 2Shifting the sales focus from short-term to long-term by opening doors with new clients and building sustainable partnerships
- 3Make sales executives more accountable and empowered by introducing and mastering a coaching style of management.
The Result
In all three workshops, the style of delivery was facilitatory, rather than directive with participants peer-coaching each other, and a focus on personal accountability for meaningful and relevant next steps.
This ensured participation and had the real benefit of learning from each other’s experience. Sessions were tailored to each individual’s business context and were participatory, action orientated and fun.
The feedback was very positive with participants taking relevant and implementable actions immediately into the workplace.
